Job Description:

You will be responsible for running the kitchen of a Mediterranean cuisine restaurant. Your duties will include:
- Creating a new menu featuring Turkish, Mediterranean, Lebanese, grills, and desserts.
- Regularly developing and upgrading the menu.
- Managing menu costing and recipe creation.
- Overseeing inventory and ordering supplies and ingredients.
- Creating work schedules, delegating tasks, and supervising daily kitchen operations.
- Establishing and enforcing standard operating procedures for food preparation, plating, and presentation.
Skills:
- Experience in preparing breakfast, mezze, shawarma, burgers, grills, sauces, and desserts.
- Strong skills in plating and food presentation.
- Leadership abilities to effectively manage and direct a team of 26 kitchen staff.
- Understanding of flavor profiles, ingredient combinations, and food pairings to create unique dishes.
- Proficiency in menu and recipe creation, as well as menu costing.
- Skills in restaurant and kitchen operations, including inventory management, scheduling, and payroll.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve conflicts among team members quickly.
