Job Description:

  • Draft concise and accurate documents for Management, Requesting Departments, and Legal review.
  • Prepare and finalize draft contracts, including EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contracts, Consultancy Agreements, Annual Service Contracts, and Frame Agreements, within the specified timeframe and in coordination with relevant departments.
  • Follow up with all relevant departments and Management to finalize documents, ensuring timely completion to meet project schedules.
  • Prepare and review Requests for Purchase (RFP) and Requests for Quotations (RFQ), including contract terms and conditions, and participate in meetings to ensure contractual requirements are understood.
  • Respond to pre- and post-tender clarifications (EPC Tender) in a timely manner.
  • Ensure final contracts fully cover all terms and conditions, ensuring alignment with Scope of Work (SoW) before release for signing.

Post Award Responsibilities:

  • Review all contract-related matters and respond in a timely manner during project execution.
  • Prepare response letters for running contracts to support the Contracts & Procurement Department, Project Managers, Purchase Requesting Departments, and end-users.
  • Administer contract execution and maintain records/control project changes.
  • Analyze Extension of Time (EoT) and Variation Orders (VO) and provide recommendations to the Project Management Team, Requesting Department, and Management.
  • Anticipate contractual and commercial risks, advising the Project Management Team and Management on necessary actions to prevent contract-related issues.
  • Ensure contracts are satisfactorily closed upon project/work completion.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (mandatory).
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Certifications such as RICS/FIDIC or Project Risk Management Certification preferred.

Experience:

  • 5-7 years of relevant EPC experience in a similar role.
  • Experience handling at least 3-4 major projects involving contract management (multi-tasking).
  • Supported Project Management and other relevant departments on high-value contracts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Presentations.
